Boo!

I love this time of year. The back to school gig is less hectic by now and things are settling into place as the leaves turn color, and porches start sprouting pumpkins. One of the highlights of my children’s whole year is Halloween, just like most kids. Who Let The Dogs Out?

You know when you’re having one of those weeks where you simply wouldn’t survive without your local little pre-prepared food shop or portion of the grocery store? Well, I’m having one of those weeks. More is More

This weekend we saw the movie, The Kids are All Right starring Annette Benning and Julianne Moore (who is consistently in my line up of famous folks I would die to have at an imagined 10 person celebrity dinner party). I loved this movie, on so many levels. And haven’t really stopped thinking about it since. It was funny, poignant and relevant. There were so many jewels of wisdom to glean from this flick, about parenting, relationships, marriage and more. A Third Child

…is what I said I always wanted, and now I have it. In the four-legged, furry form, however. A new little puppy officially named: Tucker (some homage to Nantucket) Nugget Lilly.
