Food Obsession Du Jour

Food Obsession Du Jour=Burrata It’s FRIDAY. We have the world’s most special house guests with us. So of course, need to bring some culinary big guns to the table. First up tonight. Cinderella’s Slipper? No, but pretty rad shoes!

I love shoes and who doesn’t love giving back? This is why I’m really crushing on Toms Shoes right now. Plus, how totally cute are these wedges? Don’t own yet, but will shortly after this post… They are trendy, but comfy and eco-friendly to boot. Oh and the price point is pretty reasonable too. The wedges are $64, I believe. Tuesdays are for Fashion Shows

Among Seattle’s prime time bragging rights is being home to lovely Nordstrom. Today I was lucky enough to attend a fashion luncheon that Nordstrom hosted to celebrate local arts funder, PONCHO. 30 of us gathered to soak up some fall designer couture (even though summer just seemed to start today, ahhh the irony, but I am so not complaining). Let me count they ways! I love/hate this “new economy” in so many different ways. The silver lining of this post is super accessible fashion, a la that favorite red Bulls-eyed store, a.k.a Target (if you pronounce the t at the end silently, it sounds fancier!)
