Knock Knock…
Who’s there? A new front door color that’s who.
The longer we live in the house, the more assured I become about design elements to keep and others to tweak.
The red exterior has really grown on me, to the point that I can’t imagine the house another way. It needed a little pop though, a bit of contrast.
A fun door color was in order. The new door color needed to not look gimmicky, trendy or too bold to replace the white.

My Mom came to town (a mother’s day present in and of itself) so we decided to knock it out, pardon the pun.
Hamilton Blue is the selected color.

Voila!
Can’t wait to source a new knocker and onion lamp for the finishing touches.
