What’s that they say, “We make plans, and God laughs.”
I was looking forward to a little road trip to the Cape this long weekend and to visit my dear Aunt. Yet, a stomach bug went ripping through our home.
Never the less, my husband and Father in Law rallied and accomplished the furniture collection mission. They brought back some real gems like this piece.
Old and from England, wearing a definite patina. Me likey.

But this must be quick as I return to my mind-numbingly long to-do list and to continuing to walk in circles around my house moving things, unpacking things and trying to make sense of it all. As they also say, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Trying to remind myself of this.
